Hedman Signs With Kansas Wesleyan Volleyball

(Grand Island, NE) - On Thursday, February 8th Grand Island Central Catholic Crusader senior Tristyn Hedman signed with Kanas Wesleyan University to continue her volleyball career. Hedman during her senior campaign this past season was part of a 27-4 Crusader squad that qualified for the state tournament. GICC season would end in the first round of the state tournament falling to Minden 3-0. Tristyn had 354 serving attempts this past season with 31 aces at a 95% serving clip. She also acquired 566 digs this past year for GICC. Hedman was a part of the 2022 state title team that defeated Gothenburg 3-1. She plans to get into the nursing field while at Kansas Wesleyan, which is located in Salina, Kansas.
