Offense: Domestic Violence
Victim: 48 year old female Incident #: L24040213
Offender: Adam Chambers
Date and Time of Incident: 4/3/24 @ 13:00
Location of Incident: 110 W 4th St
Brief Narrative: On 04-03-2024 at approximately 13:00 hours a domestic disturbance was dispatched to 110 1/2 W 4th St apt #1 where the victim reported she had been strangled by Adam Chambers who is her intimate partner. The victim reports this incident stemmed from a missing wallet. During the altercation, Adam stated he was going to kill her as he placed his hands around her throat impeding her breathing. The victim would escape from Adam and
call police. The victim had a red color to her neck. Adam fled the area prior to police arrival but was eventually located and placed under arrest. Adam would be arrested for Domestic Assault 3rd Degree, Terroristic Threats and Strangulation.

Offense: Protection Order Violation
Victim: 58 year old female Incident #: L24040238
Date and Time of Incident: between 1/1/24 & 4/3/24
Location of Incident: 2250 N Diers Ave
Brief Narrative: On 4/3/24 at approximately 19:40, officer contacted an adult female at the Police Department who reported a protection order violation. A records check confirmed an active and served protection order in place against an adult male. Electronic communication was observed from the male to the female. Video surveillance also showed the male following the female throughout a local store and contacting her there as well. These actions caused the
female to be in fear for her safety. Case is under investigation.

Offense: Vehicle Theft
Victim: 67 year old male Incident #: L24040216
Date and Time of Incident: between 3/20/24 & 4/3/24
Location of Incident: Within City Limits
Brief Narrative: On 04-03-2024 at approximately 14:09 hours, a belated theft of a green 2004 Toyota Tundra bearing Nebraska plate 14-892 was dispatched to 645 S Locust St. where the victim was contacted. The victim reports his son had contracted a local mechanic to repair the Tundra. The mechanic would pick up the Tundra from his son's residence and has not contacted them or returned it. Investigation ongoing.
