A Crusader Centenntial Conference Split With HSC
GICC and Hastings St. Cecilia Split their twinbill in Grand Island on Thursday. In a matchup of ranked teams, the Hawkettes never trailed in the girls' game in posting a 34-24 win. That avenged a 10 point loss in the conference tourney and broke GICC's 14 game winning streak.
The Central Catholic boys hit three pointers in their first three possessions and never trailed in a 54-27 win over the Bluehawks.
